The Koplimae Smith Tour of Africa 2000

Jim's Latest

OK all you stay at home folks out there, we are back in Canada, after one hell of a trip.
We were VERY lucky to avoid lots of potential aggravation (and worse) on trek, but also equally lucky to have had such a wonderful time (No it was not the trip of a lifetime, just another trip)

All we appear to have lost was a pair of old sandals, and a Post Restante delivery in Swaziland. !! Update !! October 2002: The Post Restante delivery finally arrived back (surface of course) to the sender. We caught up with all our missed leters and very old magazines. So, just one pair of sandals and a fuel cap cover down.

We are however, all back safe sound heavier in body mass, and much lighter in assets after our excessive trek. Even the Cruiser has arrived back.

To all the people we have met, new friends, old friends, people we would gladly avoid if we had a second chance, all others who we have ignored or pretended to like, plus that small remainder of people not in the above, we thank you for being there or not, and will move on with our lives with our past experiences to enrich and direct us.

The Smiths, Koplimaes and Koplimae-Smiths

PS, it's a lot easier e-mailing from Canada than on the road, and we are all independently accessible through our e-mail addresses again.
